DESCRIPTION
The wine Sacré-coeur is a red wine produced in the Bordeaux region in France, by Domaine du Sacré Coeur. This 2015 vintage comes from the Pomerol appellation. A blend of 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc aged in 50% new and 50% one-year-old French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: most often dark ruby and purple hues in its youth and an appearance of brick hues with aging.
Nose: the bouquet is often very rich and complex with notes of black and red fruits. Also note the presence of empyreumatic with leather, roasting and a vanilla tip.
Palate: the tannins of the Pomerols are rather robust, we will wait a certain maturity to find a perfectly balanced wine. Note the presence of ripe black fruits including blackcurrant, and sometimes truffle.
