DESCRIPTION
The Les Tourelles de Longueville 2011 was made with 58% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot that matured in barrel (30% new) for twelve months before release. This wine was dry, with medium acidity, medium alcohol, pronounced aroma and flavor intensity, medium body, and medium tannins that were silky smooth. With only eight years of age, this wine is just starting to develop and could certainly be aged for another five to ten years.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: deep ruby-red.
Nose: fresh and finely sculptured, with lively red-fruit aromas.
Palate: silky, elegant and subtle with lots of volume.
