DESCRIPTION
Sociando-Mallet is characterized by great freshness, persistence and structure with vines growing on gravel slopes lying over a clay sub-soil, 100% hand-harvested, the grapes are fermented using natural yeasts and post-fermentation, are aged for over 12 months in all new French oak barrels. Blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Intense color, ranging from ruby to garnet.
Nose: Black fruit notes with cassis and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic fragrances that vary between vanilla and roasting.
Palate: The young reds are full-bodied, marked by a hint of oak and hints of sweet spices. After a few years of aging, the tannins melt.
