DESCRIPTION

The Islander estate vineyard is found on bark hut road, Kangaroo Island. It was the location of one of the first soldier settler camps where returning soldiers and their families lived while awaiting their land allocation. These settler worked incredibly hard to help establish kangaroo island as the agricultural heartland it is today.
