DESCRIPTION

This limited edition of the Yoichi single malt has been finished in Cream Sherry butts and bottled in 2018. In addition to the Yoichi single malt’s original characteristics of pleasant peaty notes, gentle smokiness and briny hints of sea breeze, this this expression offers hints of spice and a bitter sweet taste. Please enjoy this experimental combination of Nikka’s traditional single malt and Cream Shery butt influence.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Soft and refined. This one can be admired from afar. Mild dried fruits and caramel pudding. Nuts and hints of chocolate.

Taste: Medium body, and not all that sweet, Vanilla, ginger and dried fruits. More berries with time.

Finish: Medium long finish. Dried fruits, a bit of pepper and assorted spices. Hints of chocolate and camphor.
