A delicious single malt from the Yoichi distillery, founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934. Taketsuru deemed the terroir to be perfect for whisky production, as this 15 year old will testify.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Lychees and sweet white grape.
Taste: Immediately sweet with a slow implosion of peat that seems to arise from nowhere.
Finish: Long, lingering, massive malt frame.
